Lobbying and Advocacy
Curva and Associates provides legislative advocacy and lobbying activities. We provide general lobbying and monitoring services necessary or appropriate for the advancement of the interests of our clients before the legislative and executive branches of government. We assist our clients in developing specific strategies and implementing activities including finding a sponsors and co-sponsors for bills in each chamber of the Legislature; delivering legislative member briefing packages on the issues of interest; and identifying key legislators to support these issues. We also attend meetings (legislative and executive branches) and present report of activities.
Curva and Associates has represented clients in issues related to mental health insurance, aging, persons with disabilities, children's health insurance, and social welfare.

In 1999-2000, Curva and Associates were part of a grassroots advocacy for several clients, including a consortium that included the Kellogg Foundation, Clearinghouse on Human Services, Tallahassee, Florida; Human Services Coalition of Dade County, Coral Gables, Florida; and Woodall and Associates, Tallahassee. Curva and Associates provided research support and helped establish a statewide steering committee to address health-related issues including: Children's Health; Medicare, Patient's Bill of Rights and welfare reform. We also provided grassroots advocacy work for Creative Political Foundations in Florida regarding policies affecting pharmaceutical products between 1998-2000.
